Early launch C4P/C4GP's were sold with keyless entry on the two rear doors as well, but most of us now only have the keyless facility on the front drivers and passenger doors, plus the tailgate. Perhaps the key was closer to the keyless antenna when you tried the back door. There's an antenna in the top (forward) section of each rear door on an XC90. An XC60 is probably the same. Alternatively, there is a problem with the driver's door handle.
Hi Paul. Thank you so much for the reply. Very much appreciated! Spare fob not working. It stopped too differently a good while back. The car is keyless ignition, so yeah, will need to check manual.
Turn ignition off, replace a new key, turn on ignition within 15 sec. Program completed. Manually reprogram remote control: 1.Switch ignition off and remove key. 2.Insert a key and switch ignition on. 3.Press any button of the remote key for 10 sec then release within 20 sec. 4. Switch ignition off and remove key. Test the remote key.
