My clan is tier 2 an all of this began around tier 1. There isn't much I can do with the rebels. I can't become their mercenary but it seems as though I can fight them and maybe execute them. There doesn't seem to be any quest to eliminate them either on the behest of their enemies. There aren't many dialogue options to interact with the rebels.
Not sure there is any benefit in NOT doing that. Considering the feudal system wasn't exactly like Bannerlord's faction system. In Bannerlord becoming a vassal means basically becoming permanent part of a nation. In history vassals could enjoy various degrees of freedom. SO, I could only really find one reliable source thus far.
Just hop into town, buy all the food, smack a rebel lord, then siege the city. Their food will be empty, and even if it takes a day or two to reach a lord and defeat them, I've never seen a rebel city have more than 3-5 days of food even if they get resupplied. Thanks I wasn't sure why it wouldn't let me attack.
It's only your clan as Player Clan, that can advance up the career ladder from being a nothing to being a king. Curiously, even if you get elected to a King in one of the Kingdoms, if you check the Encyclopedia, your own clan will always be listed under "Minor Factions". Nope. Rebel clans that last 30 days will be able to eventually join
Pros. +2 settlement loyalty per day. Cons. -0.5 influence per day for non-ruler clans. Loyalty is another metric that players will need to nurture if they want to be as hands-off as possible with
